Summer Sonic Bangkok 2024 is now coming to Thailand
As a new development of Summer Sonic festival, we will be branching out to Thailand to host the first ever Summer Sonic Bangkok where artists from Japan will be featured in the lineup.
In recent years Summer Sonic has booked up and coming artists from all over Asia. We hope that Summer Sonic brand will be a bridge for artists to break into Asia and global music scene. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
Japanese Artists Set to Perform at Inaugural Summer Sonic Bangkok

"This week we announced the dates and venues for Summer Sonic 2024, I am thrilled to announce that Expo'70 Commemorative Park, the symbol of Osaka, will act as an official venue. Looking back we have welcomed many attendees to the event for over 15 years ever since the venue has moved to Maishima in 2007. Mishima Sport Island will always remained in our hearts as a venue with unforgettable scenes and performances for Summer Sonic, but with the new location; this will mark as another step forward and a new beginning of the history of Summer Sonic.
In 2024, Summer sonic will take on a new challenge by expanding overseas to Bangkok, Thailand; a week after the shows in Tokyo and Osaka, relatively on the 24th-25th of August.
We are happy to announce that Paradise E&A is the sub-licensor and Bangkok Connect Co., Ltd will be sub-licensee and promoter for the event exclusively in Thailand. Additionally, we are collaborating with Arai Kor Keng Co., Ltd., our local partner, to coordinate the event this time.
In this era where international festivals have gained popularity, recognition and proved to be well recieved such as the rise in the K-pop culture. Summer sonic Bangkok will represent the Japanese music culture on a global scale. We aim to deliver an impactful and appealing lineup by including great artists from both countries.
